It has been a sweet partnership for brand experience agency Jack Morton and Kirsty Parkes’ Sydney-based business Sweet CinnaBun since they connected through Global Sisters.
The creative services company stepped up to help Kirsty build up her business, her customer base, and her brand; and now, it’s a partnership that’s adding a little sweetness to the lives of Jack Morton’s own staff as well.

”We know employees want to see their employers demonstrate their social responsibility, so I think it’s critical for a business to show that they care about others in the community.

“We gain from our partnership with Global Sisters in a number of ways. Firstly, it gives our employees an opportunity to connect with a more diverse group of Australians and brings a different perspective into our world. I believe that’s critical for us to be better humans and in fact, to do better work.
Secondly, I believe that our engagement with organisations like Global Sisters can have a positive impact on our employee engagement. People feel good about working for Jack Morton because they know we care about supporting others.
And finally, for some of the junior members of our creative team, it gives them a very rich professional development opportunity. They get to work directly with a client, apply their creativity, pitch an idea, seek feedback, and own the creative process. The benefits they get from having that professional development opportunity are significant,” said Helen.
“Of course, the extra reason is that Sweet CinnaBuns are delicious and now we all get to sample them!” she added.

Kirsty Parkes, the creator of Sweet CinnaBun, says she’s grown both personally and professionally since working with Global Sisters and Jack Morton.
“I feel I’ve grown as a woman, as a mother, and as a business owner. The effects of that have been dramatic with such positive impact – I’ve gone from doubt to diva, turning my passion into a real income, and now I’m confidently moving forward in this space!” she said.
“Jack Morton’s support has enabled me to develop my business’s identity and allowed us to lift to the next level. I have so much gratitude for Helen and the team, who have spent such great quality time developing our branding to perfectly encompass all that is Sweet CinnaBun.

“We are now so much more easily identifiable and memorable. We have gained amazebuns artwork that is all ours and completely original, logos and bun puns included. The team have nailed our identity and were an absolute pleasure to work with, all questions were answered and all areas covered.
“And on a more personal level, having had this level of support from such a huge global agency and brand has boosted, not just my confidence, but also my passion to grow and give back,” she said.
”Global Sisters and Jack Morton will always have a piece of my heart.
