After working as a Fashion Designer in India and London, Chandrika moved to Australia and struggled with employment due to a limited number of opportunities in this industry. She started to import vintage clothing to sell in markets, but the pandemic stopped this. Passionate about food, Chandrika realised there was a gap for South Indian food options in Sydney and decided to create Lentil Bites.
