Ira’s journey is shaped by creativity and resilience. After facing job challenges as a migrant in Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic, she started a sustainable homeware brand in 2021. Drawing on her background in supply chain and ethical sourcing, she partnered with artisans in Indonesia to create handmade products from natural materials. With support from Global Sisters, Ira gained sales experience and built her business. She now sells online and at pop-up stores, and is preparing to expand into the US market, focusing on quality craftsmanship and sharing the stories of the artisans she works with.
