Global Sisters has supported more than 5500 Australian women on their business journeys. The businesses that we support are highly diverse and across all categories. A large cohort have STEM & Innovation businesses, that are not only providing careers to women in this traditionally male dominated sector but providing innovative solutions to some of societies most pressing problems.

Global Sisters supports women to overcome intersectional systemic and structural barriers that are affect all women-led businesses but that are even more entrenched and prevalent in the STEM sector including racism, sexism, ageism and ableism. We not only make business possible but support women to commercialise their innovations and access the business networks and connections needed to grow their businesses. To date, we have transferred over $3.1 Million in pro bono support from leading Australian corporates to Sisters to support them in their business.

STEM & Innovation Businesses in the
Global Sisters Community

The STEM and Innovation businesses in the Global Sisters community are led by diverse women across regional and urban areas of Australia and include First Nations women, migrants, women with disabilities, carers and older women. The women running these businesses are not only creating careers and financial independence for themselves but breaking down barriers in the sector and leading change.
